Reservation & Payment:
Your spot on this retreat will be reserved upon purchasing a specific accommodation. You may pay in full or choose a payment plan. You agree to pay the Total Retreat Cost of $2995 plus your lodging choice cost. If you choose the payment plan, you agree to automatic payments on the credit card you provide. If choosing a payment plan, your first 1/3 payment of total cost will be collected at the time of registration. Payment 2 will be automatically collected on March 1st, and payment 3 will be automatically collected on June 1st. With the exception of refunds allowed due to government imposed Covid-19 restrictions (see Cancellation Policy below), all payments are non-refundable, and in registering, you commit to make all future payments until the Total Retreat Cost is paid in full.
The Retreat and Lodging costs are priced in US dollars.
Accommodation:
Due to the unique nature of the venue for this retreat costs are organized and priced based on the category of room selected. Most of the accommodations at Mandala Springs are shared rooms with shared bathrooms. If you’re traveling with a friend or relative, please indicate your preference of room sharing with them on the Checkout Form. This retreat is available to anyone with reasonably good health and mobility. The campus of Mandala is quite large; those with reduced mobility will most likely have difficulty attending.
Travel Insurance:
We highly recommend that anyone traveling with us purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance and Travel Medical Insurance to protect you (and us) from unforeseen events that may prevent you from joining or completing the retreat. (For more information about Travel Insurance, see our Travel Insurance page or buy your own insurance from a trusted source). (https://girlsguidetoparis.com/travel-insurance/)
Trip Cancellation Insurance:
Trip Cancellation Insurance reimburses you for out-of-pocket and committed expenses in the event you are unable to travel as planned (for one of the covered reasons – usually health or natural disaster related. It is important that you read and understand the coverage a Trip Cancellation policy does and does not provide). A Cancel for Any Reason rider will provide reimbursement (often up to 75%) if you cancel for a reason other than a covered reason. Because you are committed to pay the Total Trip Cost, if you cannot come on the trip for some unexpected reason, you will still be obligated to pay the Total Trip Cost out-of-pocket if you do not purchase the appropriate Trip Cancellation Insurance. Note: When you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance, obtain sufficient insurance to cover the Total Trip Cost plus your airfare (estimated if you have not already bought a ticket) plus any other expenses.
Travel Medical Insurance:
If your health insurance does not cover you while you’re in a foreign country (pertinent for those coming from Canada or Europe) we require that you purchase travel medical insurance that covers you for the length of the retreat. Travel medical insurance is temporary coverage that pays for emergency medical expenses, evacuations, and provides 24/7 assistance to help you when you’re traveling. Travel medical insurance is required (for those from outside the USA) so you and our trip retreat leaders can rest assured that you’ll be taken care of should the unforeseen happen.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation due to government imposed Covid-19 restrictions: Customers who register and reserve this retreat are entitled to a full refund if the retreat is cancelled or postponed or you are prohibited from traveling due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions imposed by the relevant government authorities in your home country or in the trip destination country. If such COVID-related restrictions require us to postpone or cancel the retreat or prohibit you from traveling, you will have the option of joining the retreat at the new date or receiving a full refund if the new dates do not work for you.
Cancellation policy for all other situations:
Because of our up-front costs organizing this retreat Women’s Travel Wisdom can’t give you a refund if your plans change or you are unable to travel for some other reason. Furthermore, you are obligated to make all payments until the Total Trip Cost is paid in full. (This is why we require you to purchase Travel Insurance). In the highly unusual event that we have to reschedule or cancel a trip for a reason unrelated to a Covid-19 government restriction, we will offer you the option of a) Joining us on the rescheduled retreat at a later date (we will make every effort to pick new dates that work for most), or b) receiving a full refund.
Vaccinations and Other Health Tests:
We require everyone attending this retreat to be fully vaccinated meaning they have had their second injection more than 14 days prior to their arrival date and a booster shot if eligible.
Conduct:
Mandala Springs is a wellness retreat and there is no alcohol, illegal substances, or meat of any kind allowed on the property. This is a vegetarian and substance-free nature sanctuary. Their policy regarding guests is that they only allow plant-based and vegetarian food to be cooked on the property, in respect of the land and people who come here for sanctuary, growth and learning. Therefore, we ask all our guests to honor and respect this policy.
For the duration of the retreat, you are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful and non-disruptive manner towards the other women at the retreat, the speakers, the staff at Mandala Springs, and anyone else we come in contact with during the trip. If, in the sole discretion of the Event Planner, you are deemed to engage in abusive, disrespectful and/or disruptive behavior, you will be warned once that such behavior must cease. If, in the sole discretion of the event planner, you continue the abusive, disrespectful and/or disruptive behavior, you may be removed from the retreat and there will be no refund. If you are removed from the retreat, you will be responsible for organizing and paying for all incurred damages.
