We will be headquartered out of L’Isle sur la Sorgue in the Vaucluse department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. The town is named as such because it is literally a village surrounded by a river making it a little island full of still working watermills, small bridges and loads of charm. Our villa fro the week will be the Domaine de la Palerme
the onetime home of Albert Camus. This is a stunning Provencal mansion (“bastide”) built in the early 18th century, and fully restored in 2016 by the English speaking owners, with all modern comforts, including a gorgeous pool, to make your stay both memorable and relaxing. It was named one of the top 30 places to stay in Provence by Travel & Leisure. Princess Kate’s and sister Pippa’s parents recently stayed there.
