Day 6 Wed April 29th

For those who want to rise early, we will go with our own chef to the market this morning to buy dinner for tonight.

Today we will rent bikes or Segways at Chateau Soutard and we’ll tour the surrounding area on wheels!

Then I’ll take you to my favorite truck stop for lunch. This is a place to people watch – here you’ll see French characters that look like they stepped out of a Peter Mayle book. The food is excellent!

Then we can head to a Roman ruin or go to a Foie Gras tasting (or a cheese farm). In the late afternoon we can relax at my house with a bottle or two of wine as we relax, soak in the sun and watch our French chef Marc make us our own private meal at my home overlooking the Dordogne river. We’ll toast to a fabulous week together discovering some of the most beautiful places in France.
