Thurs. Sept 27th
10-12:30 Tour St Emilion’s Underground church as well as the stunning UNESCO world heritage town. This town is one of the most beautiful in France and while it is perfectly preserved it is not simply a tourist destination, it’s a vibrant place which is the headquarters for the right bank wine-industry, yet it feels just like something out of a fairytale.
1pm Lunch in town @Les Girondines one of my favorite spots
2:30 Wine tasting at Chateau Soutard, with its centuries old manor house and sparkling new chai*.
3:30 – 6:30 Time at my house along the river with your very own Life Coach: “Starting the Conversation”
Dinner at L’Huiterie Pie in St. Emilion. My favorite dish here at this tiny charming restaurant is the Duck Parmentier, imagine Sherperd’s Pie made with duck. Of course the oysters here are also stupendous!
*A chai is a wine storeroom in France. You’ll visit the chai, the cellars and the vats where they make the wine.
Friday Sept 28
9am Yoga class in morning at my house outside by the river (weather dependent)
10-12 Inspiration session with Ashley. “Telling our Life Story”
12:45 Lunch at the French truck stop, which feels right out of a Peter Mayle novel. This is one of my husbands’ and my favorite haunts for a simple homey French lunch and it is superb for people watching.
Afternoon is reserved for kayaking, biking & possibly a Segway tour through the area (or even horseback ride).

Sat. Sept 29
7am Early morning candle lit meditation with Ashley
Visit the Market in St. Foy, which is located in the Dordogne department about 20 minutes away. This is one of the largest and most special markets in the region.
10-2 We’ll have a cooking class at one of the local wine Chateaux
3-6:30 Individual sessions with Ashley, 20 min per person. “Creating your new self”
Casual Dinner at Le Belvedere watching the sunset at it sinks behind the horizon while sipping on Bordeaux wine and enjoying French tapas.
Sunday Sept 30th
Today we’ll get to experience the UNESCO world heritage site of Bordeaux, the city. Bordeaux is like a mini-Paris that is sunnier and friendlier.
10am We’ll take a city tour focusing on my favorite squares and alleyways.
From 12-1pm we’ll visit the Les Capucines market where we can eat local fresh oysters, sample Spanish tapas and imbibe in local wines.
1:30 After we’ll visit the Cathedral where Eleanor of Aquitaine was married in the 12th century and light a candle. Eleanor is the only person to have been married to both the King of France and the King of England.
2:30 pm In the afternoon we’ll head to our hotel for the night.
Here we will tour the wine vineyard and enjoy a tasting of Chateau Haut Smith Lafite, my favorite white wine made in this region. Like a princess tonight you’ll rest your lovely head at this Relais Chateaux Five Star Property right next to the vineyard. Not only is this an amazing vineyard but it also is an award-winning spa.
4:30pm In the early evening we’ll enjoy a red wine bath followed by a massage at the award winning Caudalie Spa. They innovated the use of grape seeds and skins for therapeutic use.
6:30pm Evening with Ashley – “Intuitive Question & Answer Session with Ashley”
8:30pm Dine at the La Table du Lavoir on the hotel grounds.
Monday October 1st
Today we are off to Basque Country and St. Jean de Luz
During our car ride we’ll make the most of it with a session from Ashley. “Practicing Mindfulness”
We’ll stop on way for lunch in the Basque hills at a quaint farm to sample the regional dish Anxoa de Veau.
Check into our hotel in St. Jean de Luz, the Grand Hotel de la Poste.
Tour this charming town where every building is white washed and every shutter painted a beautiful burgundy red.
Enjoy a seaside stroll with the mountains as your backdrop.
There will be time for shopping for Basque linens and espadrilles made locally. Some shops date back to the 1800’s.
Sunset Ritual: Loose something into the ocean that’s holding you back. Old beliefs will be written and then tossed into a fire.
Drinks & Tapas by the Ocean
Tuesday October 2nd
Visit the town of Espellette, the AOC where the famous peppers are dried, crushed and used in nearly all Basque cuisine. They hang them right up on the outside walls of most of the houses and buildings in town creating a riot of red peppers as far as the eye can see. We will tour the small town and sample some spicy Espellette-infused chocolate.
Lunch in Hendaye on the ocean at Les Comptoir des Allees
Tour the Chateau in Hendaye with its famous library.
3-6 PM Life Coaching final session “Radical Clarity”
Tonight we’ll head to our final meal together at a Michelin starred restaurant up in the mountains.
