SATURDAY 9/28: Once you embark on one of our 50 foot private yachts you’ll relax and adjust to a calmer, simpler more nature-focused life and you’ll sigh. Tensions just melt away when sailing. Our first stop on our week-long adventure will be Golfo Pevero. It is a lovely bay, great for swimming, with a beautiful sandy beach. Overnight stay here on the anchor. Tonight we’ll enjoy a festive dinner on Sardinian delights with vino (of course) at the charming La Mola Restaurant, Piccolo Pevero – they serve up fresh pasta and seafood directly from the waters before you.
SUNDAY 9/29: Today we’ll sail to Caprera island one of the islands in the Maddalena archipelago which are described by Conde Nast traveller as the secret islands of Northern Sardinia. Here we’ll enjoy a day of swimming and water sports and then we’ll moor in La Maddalena town later this evening. We’ll stop here at one of the local restaurants here where we’ll dine on our ‘fantasy Italian Grandma’s’ cooking washed down with local wine!
MONDAY 9/30: Today we will discover the La Maddalena archipelago, heading over to Budelli Island where we’ll anchor near the beautiful Pink Beach. Tonight we’ll enjoy a candlelight dinner aboard after watching the sunset dip into the crystal blue water of the Mediterranean.
TUESDAY 10/1: Today we’ll cross to the French side of the equation to the Bocche di Bonifacio (visiting Lavezzi island on the way which is superb for a dip). Overnight tonight will be in the magnificent walled Citadel of Bonifacio. We walk through the narrow streets of the old town and dine on local specialities which include wild boar, veal with olives and Corsican lambs with locally grown fresh veggies for any vegans in the group.
WEDNESDAY 10/2: Sail from Bonifacio to Isola Piana staying in Corsica for another night. This evening we’ll stay at the stunning Gulf of Sant’Amanza on anchor. Tonight we’ll prepare a beautiful freshly made meal from items we’ve purchased at the open air market.
THURSDAY 10/3: Sail to Caprera island. Anchor in Cala Garibaldi. Today we’ll visit Garibaldi’s farm and museum. Overnight stay in Cala Portese, some cocktails and dancing at the beach bar with sand between your toes is a must!
FRIDAY 10/4: Sailing to Cala di Volpe and Ramazzino, Marinella Gulf. Afternoon arrival to Portisco Marina. Sardinia is famous for their delicious wine. Here we’ll go wine tasting at Vigne Surrau. The whole set up here is delicious: the winery and the surrounding area and of course the wine they make. Tonight we’ll feast at a secret yet to be announced restaurant, Italian style. Ahhh…La Dolce Vita!
