pâques in paris

With Pâques just a few weeks away, we wanted to use this time of rebirth, whether you celebrate Easter, Passover or neither, to highlight the pleasures of spring and renewal: tiny green buds on the trees, daffodils and tulips blooming in the parks and the chance again to laze in the sun on Parisian terraces, sipping a coffee or something stronger.

In that spirit, we're trying something new in this issue of our newsletter. We're sharing a list of what we love right now in Paris -- beautiful objects and places, or ideas that inspire us.

egg
Parisian-style Easter at Hédiard.
canal
The possibility of dining on the Seine, in the sunshine, at Six-Huit.
The paintings of Fifi Flowers continue to inspire us. Pink is such a springtime color, no?

garden

Flowers will soon burst into bloom. The gardens at the Musée Carnavalet
are gorgeous year-round, and there are many more museums

to explore throughout Paris.

glasshouse
Interior courtyards, including this lovely little one at the Relais Saint-Sulpice, are among the many spots that make Paris so special.

Even down under, where it's now fall, you can feel inspired and renewed by purchasing one of our darling market bags.

juice
Is a detox needed in order to shed some of those unwanted winter pounds? C'est possible even in Paris. Head to Bob's Juice Bar in the Marais.

Take some time to stroll through the gardens and by the spectacular monuments of Paris -- especially in the spring rain.

fountain
Jump for joy and celebrate that you are in Paris -- even if you've been here for 20 years!
