This week we bring you a sneak peek of our monthly recipe and wine, which means that you get to see them before anyone else! And this month we are inaugurating a new recipe queen. Camille Malmquist has sadly become too busy to stay with us, working as a pastry chef at the newly opened and gigantically successful resto Blend. Blend offers vrai American burgers and awesome desserts, like whoopie pies, speculoos cheesecake, cookies and brownies (delicacies from the United States that you can't easily find in Paris), made by our former recipe writer extraordinaire. She will be missed! |
Enter stage left, Katia Grimmer-Laversanne from Australia, who is married to a French man and has been living in Paris for more than 10 years. She is half of the very successful weekly Katia and Kyliemac podcast and, not surprisingly, she likes to cook. (Katia is on the right.) Her first recipe for us is a mouthwatering and oh-so-French appetizer. |

Historical accounts of The Rite of Spring credited highly original rhythmic structures and previously unheard tonal dissonance for what appeared to drive the audience into a form of collective chaos, as the performance allegedly ended with fistfights in the aisles. The fusing of primitive and modern rendered the piece an instant icon.
