Thursday, April 15, marked the grand opening of the iconic American designer Ralph Lauren’s first Parisian store, at 173, boulevard St.-Germain. Since Paris is the epicenter of all things fashion, this proves to be quite the coup for the creator of classic looks so symbolic of the US. We chose a timeless yet Paris-worthy look from Ralph Lauren’s Blue Label to celebrate springtime in the City of Light. Channeling the 1951 film An American in Paris, we went with this ultrafeminine pink silk dress and paired it with classic Americana accessories, from pearls to tan leather shoes to a tan belt and bag. You can hear strains of Gershwin’s sonata drifting across the Seine. Bienvenue et bonjour to the preppy Parisian!
